Want information on what Wheel Spinner Attachments fit which Custom Wheel? Then you have come to the right place.
Most spinning wheels are spinner attachments mounted on custom wheels. But they will not work on just any custom wheels. Which Custom Wheels can take Chrome Spinning Rim Attachments? Custom wheels that are designed with a negative offset or for rear wheel drive (RWD) vehicles can take spinning rim attachments. Negative offset of a wheel means that the mounting surface of the wheel is positioned closer to the disk/drum, axle or behind the centerline of the wheel and is commonly referred to as a deep dish wheel. This offset is common in older vehicles. Modern RWD custom wheels are deep enough so that the
spinning rim attachment can ride inside the wheel.
Front wheel drive (FWD) or positive offset means the mounting surface of the wheel is positioned in front or street side of the true centerline of the rim. Positive offset wheels are generally found on front-wheel drive (FWD) cars and some newer trucks. Spinner rim attachments can not be used on FWD vehicles custom wheels because the attachment will stick out and prove to be very dangerous. A negative offset custom wheel with a large rim lip of 1 to 2 inches is ideal for most spinning rim attachments. Less than 1 inch would be unacceptable. See drawing below. Notice the deep dish of this custom wheel.
